Closing positions in the Nadex platform

Next to any of your open positions, you will now see a button labeled 'Close' on the desktop platform, and an 'X' on the mobile app, as shown below:

Clicking these buttons will open a new order ticket to submit a market order to close your position at the best available market price. After clicking 'close position' in the order ticket, an order will be sent to close your position.

If there is no current market price available to close your position, or you would prefer to place a closing limit order, you can still click on the open position itself under the ‘Positions’ tab to submit a working order using a limit order. See the picture below for reference:

Managing your positions

You can still manage your positions by clicking directly on your open position. This method can be used to place a limit order, set a take profit order, close a position, etc.
